The Attention Trap
About This Book
In the modern world we find ourselves in, one thing is going largely unsaid. The bubbling economy of attention.
Every click, comment, like, even just views, are all tracked. The level of detail is outstanding. For example, this website tracks you, where you're from, even what device your on. Almost everything bar your personal data.
I make the point to highlight that we live in a world where your data is for sale. And beyond that... every detail about your tastes. All fed into algorithms designed to predict the best marketing solution to you. Or, predict when you might buy that item in your Amazon basket, then email you about it.
Find out more in my book. Learn the tactics. Break the habit.
